"Typically how many blogs does it take for B2B to take off?"
This was the question I received from a potential client during a conversation on LinkedIn.
I was a bit dumbfounded.
Are we still thinking that blogs without a team of writers, a strategist, and a SEO specialist will produce organic traffic to your website?
NO. It will not.
Does that mean as a SME without a big budget you shouldn’t produce blogs?
Again, no.
You can produce ONE blog per week and still get GREAT content marketing results.
How?
That one well-researched blog acts as your anchor content for the week.
After being published on your website, the blog's content can be re-purposed and re-distributed across social media channels, where your audience ACTUALLY resides.
On LinkedIn this can look like a short opinion piece, a carousel, a compelling graphic with stats, or a video and other formats of algorithm magnetism that I often geek out on.

A successful content marketing strategy is like a romantic relationship, you have to stay invested way past the honeymoon period, to see what works and what doesn't. And then, you can start building that rock-solid foundation.
